Immediate Media, the special interest content and platform company, has appointed Lucy Bellamy as the new editor of Gardens Illustrated. Lucy leads the editorial teams across the monthly print title and gardensillustrated.com reporting to Gardens Illustrated publisher Marie Davies. Lucy joins Gardens Illustrated from Bauer Media where she was a member of the launch team and gardening editor at Modern Gardens. Previously she has worked as a freelance garden journalist for The Guardian, Grow Your Own, Kitchen Garden and Garden News magazines and as a commercial horticultural copywriter.

Lucy will take up her new post in March 2017.
