Garnier Ambre Solaire has partnered with Tesco and announced the launch of its first Sun Safe UV Patch, to help highlight the effects of UV exposure. 
 
97% of people enjoy spending time in the sun, but only 52% feel that sun protection is a necessity. Garnier Ambre Solaire is working with Tesco to give a Sun Safe UV patch away with 1 million bottles of Ambre Solaire sunscreen. The hope is to drive better sun awareness throughout the UK.

Stocked from April 2018 and available in select stores nationwide, this new innovation measures both UVA and UVB rays and indicates to the consumers the UV level they are exposed to, acting as a constant indicator to remind them to reapply sun cream and seek shade. The aim is to educate consumers on their UV exposure, with the hope of improving sunscreen application habits and raising awareness of sun safety. 
 
Developed in Sweden, the innovative patch has been created to work for the most sensitive skin types, and has been designed to withstand an active day in the sun.
