Global apparel business Alvanon has announced the appointment of Saul Guzman as PR consultant. He takes over from Sue Waters, who after five years with the company, has been appointed strategic advisor to the senior executive management team. Working directly with Alvanon’s global marketing team, Saul will be responsible for overseeing all European PR and communications, as well as providing strategic PR support on US West Coast announcements. He will work in collaboration with Bob Giuliano, Alvanon’s existing PR consultant for the US East Coast and Asia. Prior to Alvanon, Saul was PR Manager at luxury retailer Harvey Nichols where his responsibilities included devising, leading and implementing strategy for menswear and womenswear across the group, overseeing fashion launches and communicating the strategic PR plan internally to key stakeholders in the business. Before that, he worked at Finch & Partners and Bryan Morel PR in London where he acquired five years’ experience working predominantly for luxury, fashion and lifestyle clients.
