Alison Farrington (née Bishop) has joined Global Blue as intelligence editor. She has 15 years of business journalism experience, having previously worked at WGSN and LS:N Global where her areas of expertise were fashion and retail market analysis. In her new role, Alison is editorial leader of Global Blue's Intelligence Publications unit, focusing on overseas travel shopping trends with a primary focus on luxury retail and consumer nationality behaviours. She will also support and advise the management, merchants and other Business Insights clients on market and consumer developments. Alison is responsible for writing, commissioning and editing data-driven Globe Shopper behaviour reports, white papers and research publications.
