Beauty subscription business, GLOSSYBOX, has announced the launch of a new content series #nofilter for 2020. The new lifestyle series of blogs and social content will discuss a wide range of issues that affect every woman, every day. From menstruation, body image and mental health to women in sport, menopause and money struggles, the series aims to educate and normalise conversations on topics that have too long been looked-over.
Each theme within the series will feature four articles as well dedicated social posts published every two weeks, including topical illustrations and collages designed to be shared.
The first theme of the series, launched Sunday 12 January, is menstruation.
Eleanore Nash, Editor of GLOSSYBOX UK & Ireland, said “Over the past few years, we have seen global movements continuously empower women, including ‘Times Up’, ‘Everyday Sexism Project’, and ‘Free Periods’. As a brand that directly reaches thousands of women across the UK & Ireland, we have a responsibility to actively join this conversation. Throughout 2020, we will openly discuss a range of topics (including period poverty, early menopause and body shaming) in an approachable, personal and educational way. With #nofilter, we want to open up and normalise conversations so that women don’t have to struggle in silence.”
