Health, wellbeing, medical and lifestyle club, Grace Belgravia has announced that it has ceased operations and closed its club.
CEO and Founder, Kate Percival has released the following statement:
"I regret to advise that Grace Belgravia has ceased operations and the Club has closed. One word explains why-Brexit.
American investors pulled out of funding the company last week because of their increasing concerns about the impact of an aggressive and chaotic Brexit. One of the other serious and continuing consequences of Brexit has also been the loss of some high spending members who have relocated out of the UK and the reluctance of others to renew/join because of their uncertainty of where they will be living post March 29th.
The last seven years have been an amazing journey of learning and experience and our staff and practitioners have met and worked with many inspirational people. Grace has changed the lives of many members and patients and although the lessons learned in building our sorority have ended up being extremely painful, it is a period in our lives that we will always value.
I am sorry that we have closed down and that we have ultimately let down our precious members, patients and staff."
