Harrods and Gucci have announced a collaboration that brings together London’s most famous store with Italy’s dynamic fashion House. For a whole month, Gucci will bring its Gucci Garden of slithering snakes, blooming flowers and fluttering butterflies to London's iconic store, taking over windows, display areas and digital channels. The ‘takeover’ will showcase a special Gucci collection designed by House Creative Director Alessandro Michele exclusively for Harrods: limited-edition bags, shoes and sneakers, and ready-to-wear pieces for woman and men. In addition to this, the store will be home to the unique Gucci DIY (in the UK for the first time) service which allows customers to put their own creative stamp on pieces with a diverse collection of items ready to be customised with decorative patches, including Harrods exclusive butterfly motifs in a variety of colours.
In another exclusive, Harrods customers will be the first in the United Kingdom to be able to preview Alessandro Michele’s debut fragrance for women. The perfume, Gucci Bloom, brings the Gucci Garden to life. Featuring jasmine, tuberose and Rangoon creeper, Gucci Bloom will be exclusively available in The Beauty Hall and at special retail spaces in-store from 31 July.
The Gucci Garden will be unveiled at Harrods in late July and will run throughout August.
