Jardine of London is a new British luxury handbag brand founded by Mary Jardine. The brand has has recently launched online with Wolf & Badger, which also has stores in Mayfair and Notting Hill. Mary Jardine’s background was in the modelling world of organising photoshoots, fashion shows, advertising and marketing but always dreamed of having her own luxury handbag business. The inspiration for the gold star used in the brand name comes from the Jardine Star Brooch which was left to Queen Elizabeth II in 1981 by Lady Jardine. Products are made from highest quality soft calf leather and aim to be both stylish and practical, each incoporating a music bar detail inspired by Mary's leather music case as a child.
