Hearst UK has announced its partnership with Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts (CSVPA) to build upon its existing relationship to provide two fully-funded scholarships, in a bid to make education in the fashion and creative industries more accessible and diverse. Drawing on the prestigious brands, Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan, scholarships will be available for two established CSVPA courses:
The courses are specifically designed to create a pipeline of students with the necessary skills to enter the creative industries. The curriculums will be heavily infused with practical skills and contact with Hearst experts and other experienced industry figures such as Holly Fulton, Head of Fashion at CSVPA and an established fashion designer. As part of these scholarships, each student will also be offered the opportunity to undertake work experience or an internship at Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan.
The scholarships are designed to create new opportunities for talented individuals who may have previously found the courses inaccessible due to economic circumstance.
This initiative is an extension of Hearst’s existing partnership with CSVPA, which started in 2016 with the launch of an MA in Art & Design. For more details click HERE.
