Charlie Boyd (née Byrne) has been appointed executive fashion and jewellery editor of Harper’s Bazaar and Town & Country. Currently acting jewellery and watches editor for Tatler, Charlie has a wealth of experience in fashion, with former roles including fashion editor of The Debrief and digital fashion writer for The Times. She has also held roles at ELLE UK, Stylus.com and Business of Fashion. Joining the team on 4 January 2016, Charlie will report to Avril Mair, fashion director, and will apply her valuable expertise to the brands’ editorial and online platforms. Current executive fashion director, Eugenie Hanmer, will be adopting the role of freelance editor-at-large from 18 December.
