Hearst has launched Harper's Bazaar Italy on a digital-first platform, Bazaar TV. Led by editor-in-chief Alan Prada, Bazaar TV will be a content-led platform featuring video content on fashion and lifestyle, including miniseries, documentaries, fiction and reality show-like content.
Editor-in-chief Alan Prada has said: "Our Harper’s Bazaar will describe a sophisticated, contemporary world, using extremely high-level images to present the dream of fashion, with the utmost attention to detail when to comes to graphics, creating interconnections between the various disciplines...It won’t all be about fashion, but entertainment, with a focus on the narrative that is also reflected through the episodes of the series that we will be showing on Bazaar TV."
Harper's Bazaar Itlay launched on 20 February, during Milan Fashion Week, it will eventually expand into print and further details will be released at a later date.
