Harper's Bazaar USA has announced the following appointments. Leah Chernikoff, previously head of content at Glossier, has been appointed executive editor, working closely with Samira overseeing all editorial content and strategy, as well as managing the team on both the print and digital side.
Laura Genninger, previously art director for Another Man Magazine, has been named creative director - responsible for the visual concept and “look” of the magazine. Laura will commence her role 1 November and will work in tandem with Samira on the brand’s upcoming redesign, as well directing fashion and cover shoots, and bringing new photographers into the mix.
Kaitlyn Greenidge is the new features director across all platforms. In this role, Kaitlyn will collaborate with writers, as well as a team of senior and associate editors, to deliver compelling and conversation-starting features, packages and portfolios that address the issues shaping our world today. Kaitlyn is a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times and has previously acted as a contributing editor for the Lenny Letter newsletter.
