A study by software firm, ChannelAdvisor has found health and beauty e-commerce GMV grew in March, as consumers were forced to stay indoors during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Cosmetics Business reporting on the ChannelAdvisor study stated that the health and beauty sector experienced the strongest growing e-commerce GMV and that the sector's year-on-year growth has been strengthened due to consumers staying indoors.
ChanelAdvisor's EMEA Managing Director, Jon Maury, told Cosmetics Business: "The home is transforming into an impromptu salon as consumers under lockdown take beauty matters into their own hands."
