CG Consultancy has been appointed to handle all press relations for Hermès Perfumes (GB). Claire will oversee the communication between Hermès Perfumes and the UK press and local influencers, in coordination with the métier and the House.
Over the past 20 years Claire Goodwin has built her name as one of the most respected brand communications/public relations professionals in the industry. Beginning her career at Halpern PR London, she worked across numerous fashion and beauty brands, from Liberty's Beauty portfolio to Jo Malone. Following five years at Halpern she was approached by Estée Lauder to lead Bobbi Brown's UK and European communications. Instrumental to the development of a PR strategy that was key to the brands exponential growth in UK, she then moved within Estée Lauder to the position of Head of Global Communications for Jo Malone London. Establishing the Jo Malone townhouse as a key driver of brand equity and digital content, she spearheaded brand collaborations that were fundamental to the amplification of contemporary British storytelling. During this period the brand experienced unprecedented growth whilst maintaining its unique positioning in the marketplace. After six years Claire, eager to revisit her love for cosmetics as well as fragrance, re-launched the Trish McEvoy brand in the UK, raising the brands awareness and profile within the UK media whilst also leading the creative direction and consumer engagement strategy alongside the founder. Now Claire has set up her own brand communications consultancy, where she will specialise in understanding and defining consumer vision, and implementing a strategy to nurture and develop luxury, niche brands. Her clients include Hermés Parfum and Caramel.
