The Hong Kong Tourism Board has appointed award-winning specialist travel PR and marketing agency Lotus to manage all PR activity in the United Kingdom under a two-year partnership. Building on the success of a short-term retainer from October 2022 to March 2023, Lotus will support the in-house team with a robust press office function, a tailored FAM trip programme and strategic and creative campaigns to highlight Hong Kong’s key tourism pillars.
Working closely with the HKTB office in London, Lotus’ communication strategy will focus on amplifying Hong Kong’s well-known tourism credentials, whilst driving awareness of the destination’s great outdoors, arts and culture and renowned culinary scene. PR activations will also focus on leveraging standout events in the Hong Kong events calendar, such as the New Year Countdown Celebrations, Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival and Chinese New Year, whilst magnifying the destination’s Hello Hong Kong campaign.
