BuzzFeed has announced that Cate Sevilla has been appointed editor-in-chief of HuffPost UK. Cate will oversee HuffPost’s entire UK operation comprising lifestyle, entertainment and politics as well as a new shopping team. 

Sevilla was previously the editor-in-chief at The Pool, and has also worked in senior roles at Google and BuzzFeed UK. She has bylines in Grazia, The i and many more. She recently released her first book, How To Work Without Losing Your Mind - a guide to shifting your relationship with your career. 

Cate will start at HuffPost at the start of the new year.
