Illamasqua has announced an anti-fascism pledge due to being 'horrified' by President Trump’s actions. In a statement, the brand comments: " we refuse to remain silent while extreme right-wing populism like this gains momentum, wherever it is happening and whoever is voicing it". As such, Illamasqua has decided that it will never knowingly sell its products to people who support President Trump’s values.

To be part of the community, and to buy the brand’s products, it is asking customers to first pledge to human fundamentalism values: never discriminate, accept responsibility on challenging social and climate issues, speak for those who cannot speak up for themselves and uphold the principles of The Sophie Lancaster foundation, the charity that has pledged to help stamp out prejudice, hatred and intolerance.
