Instagram is now asking people to confirm who's behind an account when it sees a pattern of potential unauthentic behaviour. By prompting those behind the accounts to confirm their information, the platform will be able to better understand when accounts are attempting to mislead their followers, hold them accountable and keep the Instagram community safe.
