Photo sharing platform Instagram has announced the launch of its latest feature; hashtag and profile links in bio's. Now when users include a # or @ in their bio, they become live links that lead to a hashtag page or another profile.

With hashtag and profile links in bio, users can express themselves and their interests right in their profile. Whether a #guitarlover, into #pencilsketching or have a #makeuptutorial account, now users can link to any hashtag or profile they want.

To add a hashtag or profile link in a bio, just tap on Edit Profile and go to the bio section. When typing a # or @, users will see a list of recommended hashtags and accounts in the typeahead. Once hashtags and accounts are selected, they will automatically be linked in the bio.
