Instagram has introduced the ability to follow hashtags, creating new ways to discover photos, videos and people on the app. Following a hashtag is like following a friend. To get started, search for a topic or tap on a hashtag from any post. The relevant hashtags will then be displayed in the search results along with related accounts. To follow a hashtag, open the hashtag page and tap on the follow button. Instagram will then begin show top posts from that hashtag in the feed and some of the latest stories in the stories bar.
