The Prospect Society has been appointed to co-design the It's A Long Story exhibition and handle its PR and social media campaign. It's A Long Story is a digital exhibition that spotlights and celebrates the longevity and circularity of leather. Curated by Leather Naturally, a global not-for-profit leather trade organisation, the exhibition is supported by high-profile leather designers and makers including Suzie Fletcher (The Repair Shop), Bill Amberg and Julie Deane CBE.
It’s A Long Story officially launches this month, designed to take visitors on a rich and inspiring digital journey celebrating the long lasting, circular, repairable, upcycling and recycling qualities that leather can offer. Utilising powerful imagery, immersive video content and opportunities to click through gallery windows for an even deeper learning experience, It’s A Long Story illustrates the long life of leather through personal stories, brand features, historical facts and films from an array of modern makers, ambassadors and leather repair experts. Featured brands include Coach, Adidas, Dr Martens, Schott NYC, Ecco, Puma, Dents, The Boot Repair Company, Leather Repair Company and Chicago School of Shoe Making, Anya Hindmarch & Bill Amberg. Both the UK Leathercraft Museum and Brooklands Museum have donated key historical artefacts and global influencers including Deni and Tanner Leatherstein share their passion stories.
