J Crew is to permanently close all six of its UK stores in London. The US retailer has appointed liquidator FRP Advisory to its UK business.

A spokesperson for the brand said: "After thorough review, we have determined we are best able to serve our UK customers through our global e-commerce platform and are closing our six store locations in the country. We thank our UK associates for their dedication during this unprecedented time and are working to support their transition."

J Crew has stores in Brompton Cross, Sloane Square, Marylebone High Street, Redchurch Street, Lamb's Conduit Street and a flagship store on Regent Street.
