Jean Paul Gaultier collaborates with Portela for 2019 Rio Carnival

Jean Paul Gaultier has announced its debut at Rio de Janeiro's Carnival 2019 in partnership with traditional samba school Portela. It is the first time that an international maison of fashion collaborates with a Brazilian samba school. The stylist will sign the costumes of one of the wings with the award-winning carnavalesca Rosa Magalhães and parade in an allegorical car.
Portela will parade at Sambódromo with the storyline "Na Madureira Moderníssima, Hei Sempre de Ouvir Cantar uma Sabiá" as the third school to parade on 4 March.
