Mercer Keeble PR has been appointed to handle the press and publicity for Portuguese jeweller Lia Gonçalves. Mercer Keeble PR will oversee the day to day press office and interviews for the designer and founder. In 2009 Lia graduated in Jewellery Design and followed this with a Master Degree in Product Design both from ESA/Matosinhos (Escola Superior de Artes e Design). Her eponymous label was launched in 2010 with influences stemming from her conceptual research in jewellery making. Pieces combine geometric lines and organic elements with a special care for traditional handcrafted techniques, exploring simple and usable shapes, which the user can often recreate, reinterpret and customise. All items are handmade in sterling silver, either plain or adorned with small cubic zirconias, volcanic stones and other natural elements.
