US based developer Cynosure, has launched its new laser ICON in the UK. ICON is a fractional non-ablative laser that can significantly improve the appearances of scarring. It can treat all kinds of scarring including stretch marks, acne scarring, burn scars and surgical scars. It also offers a skin rejuvenation procedure which targets all three layers of photo damaged tissue, epidermal pigment and mid-dermal wrinkles. The laser is equipped with the only FDA-approved Skintel melanin reader, which analyses your skin type and transmits vital information wirelessly. London-based clinic Juvea Aesthetics has teamed up with Cynosure to be one of the first in the UK to offer this new treatment.
