Kat Von D has announced, via her Instagram, that she is stepping down from her namesake vegan make-up brand. In the caption she said that the reason for her departure is so she can focus on being a mother to her one-year-old son as well as her other creative pursuits including her music career and recently launched vegan shoe brand, Von D Shoes. 

The brand will now be known as KvD Vegan Beauty. Kat Von D went on to announce that KvD Vegan Beauty will now be owned solely by Kendo, the beauty incubator also responsible for Marc Jacobs Beauty, Fenty Beauty and more. 

More information about the brand its upcoming products will be released in February.
