Kate Spade New York Fragrance unveils Truly Collection

Kate Spade New York Fragrance has announced the launch of the Truly Collection. To create the collection, Givaudan perfumers were briefed with only a spectrum of pantone colors and given an unusual challenge: creative freedom to craft a fragrance that captures the essence of a single colour. The collection features four unique new fragrances:
Truly Gracious
- Drawing inspiration from the colour green, perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux created Truly Gracious to exude the scent of a fresh bamboo forest.
- Top notes: Bamboo Leaves, Green Sap and Galbanum.
- Middle notes: Lotus Blossom, Mock Orange Flower and Rhubarb.
- Bottom notes: Green Musks, Ambrette Seeds and Sylkolide Givaudan Captive Musk.
Truly Daring
- To capture the essence of the colour fuchsia, perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux drew inspiration from the naturally bright fuchsia colour of the Peony flower.
- Top notes: "Tiny Dancer" Peony Scent Trek™, Flame Ginger Flower and Passionflower.
- Middle notes: Fuchsia Cherry Blossom, "Lusty" Peony Scent Trek and Jasmine Sambac.
- Bottom notes: Rosyfolia® Givaudan Captive, Pink Wild Rose and Heliotrope.
Truly Joyful
- Dreaming of the colour orange, perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux was reminded by the orange spice scent of his mother’s famous orange mousse dessert from his childhood. Truly Joyful was inspired by the crystallized ginger and warm, crisp spice of the dessert.
- Top notes: Blood Orange, Cara Orange, Valentine Pomelo Scent Trek and Cardamom.
- Middle notes: Nutmeg Flower, Royal Cinnamon, Chinese Ginger and Turmeric.
- Bottom notes: Angelica Musk, Orange Flower Absolute and Madagascar Vanilla.
Truly Dazzling
- Inspired by the colour aqua, perfumer Guillaume Flavingny created Truly Dazzling to mimic an aquatic oasis against the bright blue sky of the desert.
- Top notes: Lotus Flower, Marine Accord, Salt and Mineral.
- Middle notes: Laminaria Seaweed France, ‘Blue Beauty’ Water Lily and Wild Bluebell Scent Trek.
- Bottom notes: Musk, Sandalwood and Vetiverbe.
The Truly Collection by Kate Spade New York is now available exclusively at The Perfume Shop, Superdrug and Boots. Each fragrance is individually available as an Eau de Toilette for £45 (75ml). The collection is also available as a gift set of miniatures (7.5ml Eau de Toilette) for £25.
