KENZO has announced the launch of its debut eyewear collection with LVMH eyewear expert brand Thélios. KENZO's creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have said that the collection, will be available for Spring-Summer 2019.
Thélios covers the entire eyewear production cycle, dealing with the design, production and worldwide distribution of sunglasses and optical frames for some of the houses within the LVMH portfolio.
The KENZO Thélios collection includes vibrant colours to echo the check suits and patterned dresses from the house's SS19 silhouettes. The diverse first release of sunglasses plays with distinctive shapes and futuristic influences, the result of which reflects KENZO's vibrant personality. The collection includes both optical glasses and sunglasses.
