KOOKIE is a new quarterly print magazine for pre-teen girls in Britain aged 8 to 12. Founded and co-edited by Vivien Jones and Nicky Shortridge, the title features female role models, encourages readers to try new things, learn new skills and connect with girls in other cultures. Each issue covers a range of subjects, from exclusive interviews with inspiring role models such as Darcey Bussell CBE and Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE, as well as fun ideas, global issues, topical debate, plus history and art, technology, competitions, and more. KOOKIE is published in the UK and Australia by Missprint Media, in December, March, June and September. Issue 1 launches in December and will feature 52 full-colour pages.
