French retailer La Redoute has announced a collaboration with French design house Carven to launch a capsule collection for SS16. Inspired by the air hostess uniforms created by Carven in the sixties and seventies, the collection offers pieces cut close to the body, along with more fluid silhouettes. Key pieces include perfectly cut trousers and signature belted waists, as well as pleated materials. The colour palette is based around navy, black and cream, with highlights of red, pastel tones and khaki hues. The collection will be available online in January.
