Layered, the online magazine for daily hair inspiration and expert hair advice, has announced its new Style Stars team – a group of 10 stylists recruited following a competition promoted across Layered’s website and social media channel. As well as receiving hair missions from the Layered editorial team, the stylists will now have exclusive opportunities to share their expertise with Layered readers by recording video blogs, posting tips, and providing glimpses of behind the scenes action from their life as an expert stylist. The Style Stars 2015 line-up includes five female stylists, five male stylists, all from a range of salons from around the country. The winners are: Amy-Nuala Leahy, Ciente Salon, Hertfordshire; Crystal Stanley, Urban Retreat Harrods, London; Harley Jane Pearce, Vanilla Lounge, Devon; Harry Souter, Headmasters, Farnham; Jack Hirst, Charles Worthington, London; Jamie Bowles, Barbarella Hair, Northampton; Jessica Snadden, Headmasters Wandsworth London; Matthew Sutcliffe, Renegade Hair Studio, Leeds; Natalia Maxwell, Malcolm Murphy Hair, Leicester; and Paddy McDougall, Rainbow Room International, Glasgow. As well as its growth online, Layered is launching the second edition of its print magazine in September during London Fashion Week.
