To mark International Women's Day today, L'Occitane has launched an exclusively solidarity product to support women in developing countries. The new Ultra Soft Balm (£4) is a rose scented multi-purpose moisturiser made with 96.8% shea butter. Nourishing and protective, the balm can be used on the lips, body and hair. The product features brightly coloured motifs on the tin, evocative of wax-print fabrics which are worn by Burkinabé women - a symbol of festivity and tradition deeply rooted in African cultural heritage.
