After six months competition, the winners of the 2016 LVMH Prize have been announced and personally awarded by Delphine Arnault. Grace Wales Bonner has been announced as the 2016 LVMH Prize winner, while the Special Prize Winner was awarded to Vejas Kruszewski. Wales Bonner designs contemporary menswear and womenswear to international stockists including Matches, LNCC, Joyce, SSense and 10 Corso Como. VEJAS is Vejas Kruszewski’s eponymous label. A self taught Canadian designer, he launched his label with his first collection at New York Fashion Week for FW15.

Grace will receive 300,000 euros and a year-long mentorship from the LVMH group. The experience will encompass technical and financial advice, as well as access to the group's production and distribution expertise and networks.
