Luxury footwear brand Manolo Blahnik and global music star Rihanna have today announced their first shoe collaboration. The collection is set to be on-sale on 5 May across three store locations globally, including London, New York and Hong Kong. The shoes in the collaboration feature seven limited edition styles that were designed personally by the design duo and are set to incorporate the inimitable style of Manolo Blahnik with a mix of Rihanna’s quirky and artistic influence. Denim, sequins and artisan embroidery, inspired by Rihanna’s hand tattoos, are the main features, whereby the standout piece in the collection is the ‘9 to 5’ Boot (pictured above). All the styles in the collection will have a very limited run and will be available to purchase in-store only. Prices of the pieces will range from £541.67 to £2,458.33.
