Marks & Spencer has appointed Sarah Savva as its new Business Lead for Brands. Sarah was most recently the project manager for new business development at Primark, before which she worked at Debenhams; working her way up from finance to controller to become Director of External Business in 2011. At Marks & Spencer, Sarah will lead the development of the company's branded proposition.
Neil Harrison, Clothing & Home Transformation Director said: "At our full year results we shared that we’re in negotiations with a number of brands to enhance M&S and the relevance of our product offer for our customers. We’re delighted that Sarah has joined us, bringing her extensive commercial experience to help ensure we have complementary brands and where we have categories with leadership position we maintain that with added brands that create a full offer.
