Maybourne Hotel Group, operator of Claridge’s hotels including The Connaught and The Berkeley, has announced a new addition to the group with the opening of The Emory, its fourth hotel in the capital. The Emory, designed by the late Richard Rogers and Ivan Harbour of architectural firm RSHP, will be located on Knightsbridge and is set to open in winter 2023. This will be the group’s sixth hotel, including its two international properties The Maybourne Beverly Hills and The Maybourne Riviera.

The Emory will herald a new standard of contemporary design and discreet luxury including a private, understated entrance on Old Barrack Yard. This all-suite hotel will boast 60 suites set over 9 floors complete with a penthouse designed by Rigby & Rigby. Each floor will showcase the aesthetic of a different world-class interior designer including Alexandra Champalimaud, André Fu, Pierre-Yves Rochon, Rémi Tessier and Patricia Urquiola. With a 360-degree view of the capital, the hotel's rooftop will be dedicated to hotel guests only. The hotel’s culinary offering will feature chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten introducing his highly acclaimed ABC concept of fresh, local and conscious cuisine to London for the very first time from his Manhattan outpost. Beneath the ground, a newly created innovative wellness space, with a 22-metre pool, will be set across four floors for guests of The Emory.
