Media platform Thursday's Child has announced its launch. The platform allows users to search and discover emerging photographers and filmmakers, partnering them with brands and creative agencies who are looking to source fresh and exciting young talent. The platform responds to the rapidly evolving requirement of imagery never seen before, driven both by social media and the changing face of advertising.
Thursday’s Child provides a service not previously available to brands and creative agencies. The platform allows access to young talent, and nurture them to succeed in a professional environment.
THURSDAY’S CHILD ARTISTS
The platform offers a range of hand-selected artists, all aged between 16 and 30, who are provided with direct exposure to the industry’s leading luxury, fashion, lifestyle and sportswear brands through the platform and direct relationships.
Artists can register for free and will go through a curation process run by its in-house team and external industry experts. The talent is added to the constantly rotating roster where they can have their work seen by art buyers.
When artists are commissioned for a project, it helps them through every step of the journey. It is able to provide full or part service production and can help negotiate fees and usage rights to protect both talent and clients.
THURSDAY’S CHILD CLIENTS
Clients have the option to browse the platform for talent as well as via its bespoke search service.
Using the platform the clients can search cities with hashtags (#london / #la / #berlin etc) and also via the categories that apply to the talent (#menswear / #beauty / #sports etc) - allowing them to find photographers wherever in the world. The clients are also offered a paid bespoke search facility if they are looking at a specific area or city that is not on our platform.
The platform currently has over 120 individuals listed, with submissions continuing daily.
