SLB PR has been appointed to handle the press and publicity for MHD Productions, which specialises in developing online vocational training videos mapped to national qualifications to deliver standardised blended e-learning solutions for tutors and students. MHD Productions has become the first UK company to reach an agreement with the Iranian government to deliver e-training within the hair and beauty sectors. Phase One of the agreement will see the delivery of a MHD/TVTO co-branded version of MHDAcademy.com specifically for Iran, providing video tutorial content created by MHD Productions for English speakers, and which have been developed in association with City & Guilds to the UK 2015 National Occupational Standards. For Phase Two, MHD Productions, in partnership with Global Education Management Solutions (UK) and Naghshe Afiranan Babakan (Iran), will work with TVTO to identify local requirements and use its expertise to jointly develop new National Standards for Iran and raise the standards of hairdressing and beauty education in the region. The five year agreement commences this month.
