Hearst Magazines today announced that Michele Promaulayko has been appointed editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan and editorial director of Seventeen, in the US. She succeeds Joanna Coles, who has been named chief content officer of Hearst Magazines. Most recently, Michele served as the editor-in-chief of Yahoo Health, a digital magazine offering the latest news and expert advice on health, fitness, nutrition, and other wellness topics. Previously she was vice president and editor-in-chief of Women’s Health for six years.
