To mark its 50th anniversary Mulberry has announced a series of collaborations with three visionary designers. Priya Ahluwalia (pictured), Richard Malone and Nicholas Daley will each reinvent an iconic Mulberry silhouette to created a limited-edition capsule collection.
Ahluwalia combines elements from the designer’s dual Indian-Nigerian heritage and South London roots, giving new life to vintage and surplus clothing and drawing inspiration from art, music, literature, and culture across the African and Asian diasporas.
Richard Malone is a London-based, Irish-born designer dedicated to authenticity, resourcefulness, sustainability and experimentation.
London-based Nicholas Daley launched his label in 2015. His design explores his dual-ethnic heritage (his father is Jamaican, his mother is from Scotland). Nicholas is guided by what he calls the three c’s - community, craftsmanship and culture.
The three collections will launch throughout the year, starting with Ahluwalia in June. You can sign up to the waiting list here.
