Joanna Jeffreys has been appointed to handle PR and communications for new designer shoe brand Neous. Born from a gap in the market for understated, handcrafted shoes with minimalist detailing, Neous is the brainchild of Alan Buanne and Vanissa Antonious who have been creative partners for over a decade. Alan was trained in the shoemaker’s art in Florence and worked alongside Nicholas Kirkwood for four years, while Vanissa studied art history in Sydney before going on to work as market editor for both Australian and British editions of Harper’s Bazaar, and has been a freelance stylist for four years. Stockists include Browns and Moda Operandi.
