Niche perfume brand ånd fragrance has launched exclusively in the UK. Created by perfumer Simon Constantine in May 2020, the name comes from an Old Norse and English word for breath, spirit and ghost. The aim of ånd fragrance is to be a regenerative business. The brand has launched with the five fragrances: 

• Beån is a warm mix of Tonka from the heart of the Amazon with ethically sourced and sustainable Brazilian orange oil, lavender, neroli and fennel. It’s just like a rich, yummy posh pudding.
• Sånd takes unique Australian sandalwood versatile enough to handle hints of outlandish, but ethically and sustainably sourced banana, cardamom, and black pepper with weird and wonderful labdanum and benzoin resin.
• Båre is a delicious fragrance encapsulating the living heart of the forest with lingering and enigmatic essence of the Great Bear rainforest. Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar and Shore Pine give freshness coupled with a hearty vanilla base.
• Frånk was inspired after the perfumer’s trip to Somaliland last year and takes Frankincense and marries it with a fresh citrus and fruit gums, unlike traditional arcane and noble church scent.
• Måd is arguably the most crowd-pleasing, taking the highly loved Madagascan vanilla and then spinning it into a fun blackcurrant dessert by blending ylang oil, vetiver, violet, musk, jasmine and cloves.
