Nike has launched its first plus-size apparel collection NikeWomen, celebrating and advocating all athletes. Currently available on Nike.com and select retailers in North America, the plus size range of statement products will continue to expand. 

Helen Boucher, Vice President of Women’s Training Apparel, comments: "Fit is key when designing for women, regardless of body shape or size. But for plus size, we do also take a particular eye to colour. We pick colours that we know flatter her form more. We know from talking to women that while they want black on tight-fitting garments since black is very flattering, they also want bright pops of colour. To deliver this, women might accentuate with foundational pieces like the Pro Bra, a tank or a jacket. Those ‘accent’ items are precisely what we are delivering as we expand our range of innovations and products for plus size athletes."
