Fashion house Nina Ricci has announced the appointment of Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herreburgh as its new Creative Directors.
Rushemy and Lisi will oversee the Nina Ricci women's ready-to-wear, showing their first collection for the house during Pre-Fall 2019 season. The AW 19/20 collection will be revealed on the official schedule during Paris Fashion Week in March 2019. The acclaimed and multi-awarded duo bring fashion-forward design expertise to the role, including a poetic, playful and architectural approach of the silhouette.
Born in Curaçao, Rushemy lived much of his life in Amsterdam. After fashion studies in Arhem, he joined the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Rushemy then launched his Botter menswear brand together with his partner Lisi Herrebrugh.
Lisi was born in Amsterdam and lived traveling back and forth between The Netherlands and The Dominican Republic. Lisi then studied at Amsterdam Fashion Institute and graduated cum laude.
