Cosmetic Dentist Dr Uchenna Okoye has passed away after falling ill at home on Friday 15 September 2023. At this time, the team asks for prayers for her young daughter, her family, her team of staff at London Smiling Clinic and her friends who are all struggling to come to terms with her loss. Uchenna leaves behind the seven-year-old daughter she adored, her mother, two brothers and two sisters. They request that people respect Uchenna’s family’s wishes for privacy at this very difficult time.

Dr Uchenna Okoye was one of the UK’s most well-known and prominent cosmetic dentists who worked tirelessly to raise awareness of the importance of oral health and to champion the uplifting and life-enhancing impact of a confident smile.

She established two very successful London dental practices, and she was one of the first in her field to curate an innovative ‘dental spa’ experience for patients/guests, highlighting the important role of excellent dentistry in the world of beauty and creating signature designer smiles which earned her the popular sobriquet, ‘the Chanel of dentistry’. In 2020, she launched her own oral care range of innovative ‘MySmile’ products, challenging the big brands and winning awards for her premium whitening toothpaste, whitening pen and very clever sensitivity pen.
