Jim Jackson, the co-founder of Aspects Beauty Company, passed away on 18 February in hospital in Bergerac, France. Jim founded Aspects Beauty Company with his wife Jill in 1989. In a statement from the company, Aspects Beauty said that "he was immensely proud of the business he founded with Jill."

Jim will be remembered for all the positive things he did for people, for the company, the industry, his employees, his family and his friends, with joy and gratitude and grace. He is succeeded by Jill, his son Andrew, daughter in law Kate, granddaughter Holly, niece Daisy and nephew Ben. And his loving dogs, Honey and Jack. 

In his honour, his family will create a foundation in his name, which will provide support for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to enter business life as a career. More details will be announced later in the year. His family have requested a period of silence and peace in which to mourn.
