British photographer Terry O'Neil has died at the age of 81. His agency, Iconic Images, confirmed that he passed away on 16 November after a long battle with prostate cancer.
Terry O'Neil's work in fashion included collaborations with magazines including Vogue, and he photographed stars such as David Bowie, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, and Queen Elizabeth II. He was the only photographer said to have captured The Beatles in the 1960s, according to many industry professionals. He was awarded a CBE by the Duke of Cambridge for his services to photography.
Iconic Images said: "As one of the most iconic photographers of the last 60 years, his legendary pictures will forever remain imprinted in our images as well as in our hearts and minds."
