Fragrance brand Parfums de Marly has announced the launch of two new fragrances: Akaster and Carlisle, available at Harrods as worldwide exclusives. Akaster hails from the woody floral olfactive family and comprises top notes of Sicilian lemon, aromatic leaves and crypress, with heart notes of Bulgarian rose, Taif rose and African geranium. The fragrance is rounded off with base notes of cardamom, musk, leather, agarwood (oud), pepper, patchouli, sandalwood, saffron, incense and praline. Hailing from the fruity, spicy family of fragrances, Carlisle boasts top notes of bergamot, mandarin, apple and French lavendar, leading to heart notes of violet, jasmine and geranium. Base notes include Paraguay gaiac wood, Indonesian patchouli, sandalwood, Guatemalan cardamom, vanilla and Madagascar pepper. Both scents are priced at £215.
