PEOPLE magazine has announced a number of updates across its editorial team. Liz Vaccariello (pictured, here), previously editor-in-chief at Real Simple, has been appointed editor-in-chief, taking over from Dan Wakeford who is leaving the title.

Zoë Ruderman has been promoted from head of editorial to VP and general manager of People’s digital operations. She joined the publication’s digital team in 2018; prior to People, she held various editorial positions at Hearst’s Cosmopolitan. Zoë and Liz both report to Leah Wyar, president of Dotdash Meredith’s Entertainment Group.
