Witt Herring has been appointed to handle the press and publicity for new British perfume house, Deco London. Inspired by the 1920s - the smell and bottle design directly - the perfume house has created six unique fragrances, three for her and three for him. Each named after a persona reminiscent of the era and influenced by the emergence of chypre, fougere and oriental fragrance trends of the 20s, the fragrances include: Millicent, a floral scent opening with bergamot and mandarin, followed by a heart of white flowers and a base of woody musks; Loretta, with notes of orange blossom, osmanthus, rose, jasmine and vetiver; Constance, with bergamot and raspberry blossom surrounding a heart of rose, jasmine and pink peppers, on a base of woods, vanilla and musk; Ernest, with notes of woods, leather, amber, lavender, tarragon and geranium, topped off with citrus; Quentin, which opens with spicy cinnamon bark and tarragon, leading to a heart of carnation and geranium, and a base of patchouli, sandalwood, leather and musks; and Lawrence, a creamy aroma made up of lavender, clary sage and sweet cassis, followed by a heart of jasmine, geranium, ylang and patchouli, resting on a base of vanilla, amber, woods and musks. Available in a 50ml EDP for £75, fragrances are available exclusively from deco-london.com.
